Israeli forces intensify attacks on Gaza civilians and breach the Lebanon ceasefire.

As the war on Gaza enters its 422nd day, the Israeli government continues to resist efforts toward a resolution, including proposals for a prisoner exchange deal. Meanwhile, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens due to relentless military actions and the blockade of vital aid.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported six massacres within the last 24 hours, resulting in 47 deaths and 108 hospitalizations. Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli attacks has reached 44,429, with 105,250 injuries recorded.

Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), announced on Sunday that aid delivery through the Kerem Shalom crossing has been halted due to security risks. "The road outside the crossing is unsafe," Lazzarini stated on X (formerly Twitter), citing thefts of aid convoys and food trucks attempting to enter Gaza.

Hamas has called for an international investigation into the alleged use of internationally banned weapons by Israeli forces in northern Gaza. Civilians and medical personnel have reported the use of munitions causing "evaporation of bodies" during recent strikes.

Diplomatic efforts continue in Cairo, where a Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya and a Fatah delegation headed by Rawhi Fattouh are engaging in negotiations mediated by Egyptian officials.

In Lebanon, violations of the ceasefire agreement, which began last Wednesday, have been reported. Israeli drone strikes in the town of Rab Thalatheen killed two people and injured two others, according to the National News Agency. Another drone flew over Beirut and its southern suburbs, marking the first such activity since the ceasefire. Additionally, Israeli forces fired heavy machine guns near Maroun al-Ras, targeting areas around the Bint Jbeil Governmental Hospital and surrounding neighborhoods.
