Joey Graziadei's victory at the Dancing with the Stars Season 33 finale was a significant moment, but behind the scenes, there was some unexpected drama involving his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson. Kelsey reportedly left the venue abruptly after his win, which sparked curiosity among fans and media. While no official reason has been given for her departure, the couple has generally shared a strong bond, often expressing love and support for each other publicly.

Leading up to the finale, Kelsey wrote an emotional letter to Joey, praising his dedication and growth throughout the competition. This heartfelt gesture was shared on social media, showcasing their close relationship. However, the sudden exit at the finale adds a layer of intrigue to their story

PEOPLE takes an exclusive look inside the ballroom after Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson clinched the coveted Mirrorball Trophy as the champions of Dancing with the Stars Season 33. Their victory marked the culmination of weeks of breathtaking performances, intense competition, and growing camaraderie on the dance floor.

Joey Graziadei's winning streak continues! After finding love and proposing to Kelsey Anderson on The Bachelor, the 29-year-old added another trophy to his collection by claiming the Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Mirrorball Trophy alongside his pro partner Jenna Johnson.

The duo edged out fierce competition, including former NFL star Danny Amendola (with Witney Carson), actress Chandler Kinney (with Brandon Armstrong), Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher (with Alan Bersten), and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik (with Rylee Arnold). The finale showdown came down to Joey and Jenna versus Ilona and Alan, with Joey securing the win thanks to near-perfect performances: a 29/30 Freestyle to “Canned Heat” and a perfect-scoring Cha Cha to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”

Joey, clearly ready to celebrate, revealed his plans to PEOPLE: “I got a really nice bottle of Patron, and we’re gonna get a little drunk. I’ll be honest, it’s been a little bit.” This marked a joyful conclusion to an intense but rewarding journey for the former tennis pro and reality TV star.

PEOPLE captured all the excitement inside the ballroom as host Alfonso Ribeiro announced Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson as the winners of Dancing with the Stars Season 33. The buzzing finale night was filled with memorable moments, both onstage and behind the scenes.

After receiving the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy from last season’s champions, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy (Jenna's husband), Joey celebrated his victory while his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, quietly exited after taking part in a few photos for Good Morning America. Notably, Kelsey didn’t stay for interviews but left Joey surrounded by a supportive crowd, including Bachelor Nation alums like Tanner Courtad from Charity Lawson’s season and Jason Tartick.

Meanwhile, Val couldn’t hide his excitement for Jenna, showering her with hugs and kisses in celebration of her win. Behind the scenes, the camaraderie continued as eliminated contestants stayed behind to congratulate the top five pairs, adding to the night's vibrant energy.
