Discover what it takes to make the balloons soar at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
The 98th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is back on November 28, showcasing a dazzling lineup of 22 giant balloons, 34 fantastic floats, 7 wheeled "balloonicles," and much more.
Hosted by NBC’s "TODAY" Stars
Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker return to host this iconic event, airing on NBC from 8:30 a.m. ET to 12:00 p.m. ET, with a simulcast on Peacock and an encore presentation at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Parade Route
The parade begins at West 77th Street & Central Park West at 8:30 a.m. ET and concludes at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store on 34th Street at 12:00 p.m. ET.
Public Viewing Areas (2.5 miles):
- Central Park West: Best views are from West 75th to West 61st Streets. Note: No viewing between West 59th & West 60th Streets.
- 6th Avenue: Ideal spots are from West 59th to West 38th Streets. Avoid the stretch from West 34th to West 38th Streets, where views are restricted.
💡 Tip: Arrive by 6:00 a.m. to secure prime spots. Rain is in the forecast, so pack your ponchos!
Who’s Performing?
The parade will feature 28 entertainers, 11 marching bands, 28 clown crews, and 11 performance groups.

Broadway fans can look forward to performances from shows like "Death Becomes Her," "Hell’s Kitchen," and "The Outsiders."
The WNBA champions New York Liberty and their mascot, Ellie the Elephant, will also make an appearance.
Santa Claus will wrap up the parade on his legendary 60-foot sleigh, the largest float in the event!
