As the suspense built, hosts Alfonso and Julianne revealed the final rankings:

• 5th place: Danny and Witney
• 4th place: Stephen and Rylee
• 3rd place: Chandler and Brandon

This left two pairs in contention for the top spot: Joey and Jenna, and Ilona and Alan.

Last week's semifinals ended with a twist—no eliminations—keeping all five couples in the competition. Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold delivered their final performances before one couple was crowned the season's champion.

The star-studded finale also welcomed back eliminated contestants from the season, including Anna Delvey, Jenn Tran, Brooks Nader, and more. Additionally, season 32 champion Xochitl Gomez returned to light up the stage with her former pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, performing a dazzling routine to Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club."
