L Chelsea set a UEFA Conference League record with an emphatic 8-0 victory over Armenian side FC Noah at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

L João Félix and Christopher Nkunku both scored twice for the Premier League club, who had already built a 6-0 lead by halftime. Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Axel Disasi, and Mykhailo Mudryk contributed the other goals, helping Chelsea achieve the largest winning margin in the competition's history.

L The previous record for biggest Conference League victory, which began in 2021, was a six-goal margin. This result also ties the second-largest win in Chelsea’s history; their record remains a 13-0 win against Luxembourg’s Jeunesse Hautcharage in 1971.

LWith three wins from three games, Chelsea tops the Conference League standings in the league phase with a perfect nine points.

LReflecting on the win, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca praised his team’s focus. "The players once again showed how professional and serious they are," Maresca told reporters. "It's easy to get complacent in these kinds of games. Football is full of surprises. I asked them to show professionalism, and they did."

L Chelsea fans saw their team strike quickly, with Adarabioyo scoring a header from a corner in the 12th minute, followed a minute later by Guiu intercepting a poor pass and slotting home. Disasi added another header from a corner at 18 minutes, and Félix scored his first goal three minutes later from an Enzo Fernández pass.

L Mudryk curled a beautiful shot into the top corner in the 39th minute, and Félix added his second just before halftime to make it 6-0.

L Chelsea eased their attack in the second half, but Nkunku managed two goals—first scoring from a rebound in the 69th minute, then converting a penalty seven minutes later.
