**Breaking News** Microsoft Outage: Restoration Timeline for Outlook and Teams Uncertain as Fix is Rolled Out

Microsoft has implemented a fix to address widespread email and calendar outages reported by thousands of users on Monday morning. While services have been restored for approximately 98% of customers, the exact timeline for full restoration remains uncertain.

As of 12 p.m. EST on Monday, over 5,300 users had reported issues with Microsoft 365 on the website Down Detector. Among these reports, 86% were related to Outlook, 9% to Exchange, and 6% to SharePoint.

Microsoft identified that most users were experiencing difficulties accessing Exchange Online, its cloud-based email server, and Microsoft Teams calendars.
